Description

M33 is a large, nearby galaxy, which most consider part of our local group of galaxies, which includes M31 the Andromeda galaxy.  I've always had difficulties processing this image due to it's apparent low surface brightness, and in Bortle 5 skies, difficult to deal with the contrasting faint spiral arms which can get lost in the background sky.  This is my best attempt yet, but am still not satisfied with the image overall.  OSC cameras don't do much to enhance the H-alpha spectrum which is prevalent in this galaxy.  Other's images do far better at accentuating the H-alpha wave lengths of M33's nebula.  However, you can see how extensive the nebula are in M33 in this image.
